Finding your IP address using the HomeEye App

Due to the increased security on Mac systems, it may be difficult for your computer to find the camera on the network. To alleviate this issue, the best solution we have found is to initially access the camera using your iPhone or iPad.

In the App store, find and download the free App “Home Eye”.
Open the app
Tap add. The program will automatically search your network for the camera.
It will list your camera and show the IP address of the camera. This will be located under the UID number. This will be a series of 4 numbers separated by dots such as 192.168.1.100 or 10.0.0.10.
On your computer, open a browser and type http://  followed by your IP address with no spaces ( http://192.168.1.100)  (Your actual IP address may differ)
